Saint Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Celebrate this special holiday with family and friends using these exciting crafts and easy recipes.

Make Edible Pots of Gold

What’s a holiday without delicious treats? Create pots of gold filled with these golden treats.

1.) Gold Oreos

Step 1: Remove the desired amount of Oreos from their packaging and place them on a sheet of parchment paper.

Step 2: Take some edible color mist in the color gold and spray it over both sides of the cookies, following the directions listed.

Step 3: Place the golden cookies into a black bowl and serve.

2.) Gold Wrapped Candies

Step 1: Choose a bag of small, individually wrapped candy. (Must be covered in a gold wrapper).

Step 2: Pour these candies into a tall, black bowl. Serve and enjoy!

Fingerprint Rainbow

You’ll need: White paper, black paper, paint forĀ  each color of the rainbow, glue, gold glitter, and scissors.

Step 1: Take a sheet of black paper and cut out the shape of a pot. Place the white paper down in landscape position. Then, glue the pot shaped paper onto the bottom left corner of the white sheet.

Step 2: Dip one of your fingers in red paint. Then, add red dots in an arch shape from the top left corner of the black pot to the bottom right corner of the page.

Step 2: Wipe the red paint off of your finger. Then, continue this process the with the other colors of the rainbow, following the arch guide from the red dots.

Pro Tip: The order of the rainbow colors is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Step 4: Rub some glue onto the black pot in the area that you desire, and sprinkle glitter on top of the glue.

Step 5: Allow the paint to dray and viola! You’ve got a beautiful painting to put on display for Saint Patrick’s Day.

Create a Leprechaun

You’ll need: Orange construction paper, green construction paper, manila folder, 2 large googly eyes, glue stick, and crayons.

Step 1: Cut out your shapes. Start by cutting an oval shape out of the manila folder (head). Then, cut a hat from the green construction paper.

Step 2: Glue the green hat to the top of the oval face. (You can decorate the hat with glitter or shamrock shapes if desired.

Step 3: Rip small pieces from the orange construction paper and glue them around the outer portions of the face to create a beard. Also, cut and glue small orange rectangles for the Leprechaun’s eyebrows.

Step 4: Glue on the googly eyes.

Step 5: Use the crayons to draw on the nose and mouth and you’re done!
