Are you or anyone you know looking for a fun way to spend a weekend outdoors with the family? If so, check out the 25th Annual Downtown Venice Craft Festival. Some of the country’s best crafters will converge in Venice for this weekend to put on display some amazing works of art! A few of our most popular attractions include booths where crafters will display their beautiful pieces of stained glass, multiple types of photography, and, of course, there will be booths for children. Festival goers may walk around leisurely and enjoy some spectacular craft designs.
What to Expect:
People do not only have to look at the crafts; most items will be available for purchase. So, for those wanting to fill a space on the wall, there is surely going to be a piece just waiting for you! Worried about leaving your dog or dogs home during this fun-filled weekend? Don’t be. There is no need to leave the four leg family members home because the Craft Festival even has booths for dogs…so feel free to include the Whole Family! On top of having booths for artwork, the Craft Festival also features a Green Market. Here, festival-goers may walk around and find plants, homemade soaps, live orchids, and even homemade BBQ sauces.
Event Location and Time:
The event takes place Saturday and Sunday, June 17th and 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days. 220 Miami Avenue West in Venice Florida is the exact location for this annual event. Venice is located on the west coast of Florida, just south of Sarasota. The city of Venice is known for its laid back atmosphere and is a known spot for tourists. Miami Avenue is a popular street with plenty of shopping and places to eat!

That’s right! Admission is free the entire weekend for people of all ages.

The Downtown Craft Festival has crafters from all over the country and, therefore, attracts people tourists from many different places. With this in mind, the Downtown Craft Festival has partnered with the Ramada Venice Resort, also known as the Hotel Venezia. The hotel is offering a discount with the codeword LKAT or Art Festival.
