The city of Fairhope is once again putting on its annual festival and fireworks show in Henry George Park & the Fairhope Municipal Pier. This year’s festival is set to be one of the best ever!
Patriotic Music to Accompany the Show
This festival is a highly-anticipated event for the entire community every year. This year, the Baldwin Pops Band Independence Day Concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. A variety of patriotic music will be played before and during the fireworks show. There will also be other entertainment throughout the day to be enjoyed at a variety of places in the park.
Fireworks Show to Not Be Missed
The fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m. and will be coordinated by the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department. The display is one of the most popular events of the summer for the city and as always, the men and women of the fire department will take great pride in putting on a show that will amaze and entertain all in attendance.
Food and Fun for Everyone
There is going to be plenty of fun and food for everyone so bring the whole family. Check out the amazing food vendors on the site near the south beach area. This is an alcohol-free event, but a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to fit all tastes will be available. Vendor selections will include classic festival favorites and local fare of all kinds. There will also be a wide range of activities to enjoy throughout the day so come early and spend the afternoon and early evening enjoys all the best that the park has to offer.
The gates open early in the day with music starting at 7:30 PM and the fireworks show begins at 9:00 PM. Limited parking is available and admission is free. Keep in mind that there are no pets or personal fireworks allowed, and that this is an alcohol-free event.
