If you choose the Grand Cherokee SRT, you automatically get 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet from an exclusive 6.4-liter V8 engine.
Every model but the SRT comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but you can upgrade to have one of three different 4-wheel drive systems. These are known as the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II, with the last being ideal for off-roading. When configured properly, the Grand Cherokee can tow 6,200 pounds with the gas V6 or 7,400 with the gas V8 or diesel, helping it lead the class. Meanwhile, the SRT tows as much as 7,200 pounds.
