Pole Vault Block Party Information
This 7th annual party will take place on Dauphin Street in Downtown Mobile on Saturday, July 15th. Presented by Mobile Sports Authority, the mission of Dauphin Street Vault is to promote health and wellness through athletics to the community. The party would not be possible without the volunteers and wonderful sponsors such as Red Bull USA providing an unforgettable atmosphere. From 10 AM-10 PM, this FREE event will have a full schedule of events. So, your family will definitely stay busy and entertained. If you practice the sport, come compete against the other pole vaulters of Dauphin. Make your loved ones proud by bringing home the prize at one of the awards ceremonies! Register to Compete
Whether you are a previous Olympian or not, register to compete this year! The friendly competition’s intentions are to encourage people to stay healthy through athletic activities. Some of the best pole vaulters in the country even travel to attend. So, challenge yourself this year by competing in this event seen by the whole town. Take advantage of early-bird registration for only $40. Competitors registering after July 7th will be required to pay a $60 fee. Show your skills off and register today.
Plan your Trip!
If you are a traveling pole vaulter or attendee, make sure you plan the best trip. Guests needing overnight stays should book a room at the Admiral Hotel or Historic Holiday Inn for special room rates. Lodging rates start at $99/night at Holiday Inn when you mention “DSV2017.” Both are within walking distance of the event, so the hotels are very familiar with pole vaulters.
