What’s Different in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trims?

Jeep Grand Cherokee Daphne

The Jeep Grand Cherokee for 2016 comes in a variety of five trims that include the Laredo, Limited, Overland, Summit, and the High Altitude, which is a limited-edition model. Check out just a few of the features that are available on each of the trims.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

The Laredo is powered by the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 293 horsepower and averages 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway*. It comes in either a 4×2 or a 4×4. You’ll expect to see about 1 mile per gallon less on the 4WD than the 2WD. Standard features you can expect to see on the Laredo include heated power exterior rearview mirrors, air conditioning with automatic temperature control, front and rear beverage holders, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, automatic headlights, fog lights, trip computer, rear window wiper and defroster, tach, compass, and outside temperature gauge. ABS brakes and an array of airbags will keep you riding safely.

Grand Cherokee Limited

The Limited trim has the option of a 3-liter V6 diesel engine that outputs 240 horsepower. It also comes in your choice of 2WD or 4WD. The 4WD gives you the option of a 5.7-liter V8 gas engine with 360 horsepower that averages 21 mpg city/28 mpg highway*. Standard features and options on the Limited include leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, a full array of airbags, auto-dimming rearview mirror, garage door transmitter, memory seat, heated steering wheel, and keyless entry.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland

Its standard and optional features include dual exhaust, auto-dimming door mirrors, power liftgate, emergency communication system, integrated navigation system, 10 speakers for your listening pleasure, and a trailer hitch receiver (extra cost).

Grand Cherokee Summit

The Summit also allows you to choose between the 3-liter diesel and the 3.6-liter gas engine on the 2WD, and the 5.7-liter V-8 gas engine for the 4WD. Features you’ll love on the Summit include a rear spoiler, an optional skid plate, automatic temperature control, power moonroof, distance pacing cruise control, integrated navigation system, headlight cleaning, and variably intermittent rain-sensing wipers.

Grand Cherokee High Altitude

Advanced technologies, such as adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring, help you stay safe in the High Altitude. The Nappa leather-trimmed interior with silver anodized accents gives this Grand Cherokee a touch of class.
